Based on a number of emails I have received, it appears Metro Associates may be retiring very soon. I will post more details as soon as they become available.

It is with a heavy heart that I’m posting about the passing of Paul Hayes. When Primrose was on the brink of bankruptcy from mismanagement by a previous management company, Paul took us on, gave us breaks, helped other vendors give us breaks, and helped us get back on our feet. I remember him eager to talk about his ideas for making communities better. He will be missed.

I’d like to thank Mayor John Ducey, Councilman Jim Fozman, Councilwoman Andrea Zapcic, the Brick Police Department, as well as the MANY residents that showed up for our first Neighborhood Watch meeting. Everyone did a great job explaining what the Neighborhood Watch does, and how it can help keep ourselves and our neighborhood even safer. If you missed the meeting, it’s still not too late to be involved. We are going to have a number of future meetings where we discuss and decide on the details. Being a part of the Neighborhood Watch is easy, giving you a better connection to the Police department if you see anything suspicious. If you are interested, and you’re not already on the list, you can click ‘Contact the Board’ to the left.

We have made a number of changes over the past few weeks. From now on you will need to register and log in to see most of the website. We decided to do this because we want to share more information with the community, but some of that information is not appropriate to share with the world. Signing up for an account is easy and free. We just want to make sure you own property here, or live here. Renters, owners, and land owners/landlords are welcome to sign up. Until today, the sign-up feature has been broken, so if you tried signing up in the past, please try again. If you did sign up before August 27, you will have to sign up again.

Now that we have that out of the way, we are adding lots of documents, including meeting minutes, full copies of the Master Deed and By-Laws, more pictures, more features, message groups, maintenance requests, and more ways to give feedback. Also, we will be able to email you with any news or updates. We have a lot of information we would like to share, but can’t justify an expensive mailing for most of it.

I’d like to thank Mary Anne from Metro for donating $100 towards our party budget.

The small get-together has expanded into a party, with food, drinks, and a DJ. Hope to see everyone this evening!

Remember to bring your chairs!

We are currently planning on having a get-together in the pool area on Friday, August 26, 2016, with a rain date of August 27. We are looking for a head count, as well as suggestions, and volunteers. Click on the ‘Contact the Board’ button on the left to let us know.

After fixing a second round of issues, the pool is ready for a legally-mandated final inspection. As soon as we have a date, it will be posted here.

Although a number of issues have delayed the pool opening this year, we are optimistic that the pool will open as early as Wednesday, July 6. I will post another update as soon as we know more.

The next public Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, June 15 at the Millbrook Manor Clubhouse. An open Board meeting of the trustees will start at 6:30PM, and we will have the general membership meeting at 7:00PM. We are trying something new this time. If you wish to speak or have questions answered at the meeting, please sign in first. This way we can help the meeting move along quicker and more smoothly.
We hope to see everyone there!
