Charles Bailey
Would you like to contribute toward making the community better, but you don’t want the responsibility of running things day to day? We are looking for volunteers. Anywhere between a single person and multiple committees would be great. Do you have good ideas? Like to organize events? Good with websites? Let us know who you are, and what you’d like to do. Like you, we want to make the community better, but we just don’t have the resources to do everything ourselves.
You can contact us here:
You may have noticed the website has been a bit quiet lately, but a lot of activity has been happening behind the scenes. Longtime board member Sally Cline recently stepped down. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sally for her years of service to our community. Christine Solieri has also announced her intention of stepping down. As a result, three new Trustees have been added to the Board: Charles Bailey, Kelli Sanders, and Allen Wurtenburg. The new Board members have been working quickly to get up to speed before Christine Solieri resigns. With fresh energy, we will be working to make Primrose a great place to live.
My name is Charles Bailey. For about thirteen years, I ran this website as an unofficial service to the community. As the new President of the Board, I’m hoping to integrate the website into our community at a level it hasn’t reached in the past. I am slowly updating information, and working on planned changes that will help keep everyone informed. Through transparency, feedback, and mutual cooperation, I will strive to improve communication between the residents and the Board.
As per the notice we received in the mail:

We look forward to seeing you and hearing your suggestions and comments.

We are in the middle of a badly-needed website update. We moved to a new, more reliable webserver, and we are making extensive updates to the website itself. Since there is, and will be information here that is only the concern of a Primrose Lane resident, soon you will need a username and password to access most of the website. Usernames and passwords are free. We aren’t here to make money, only to serve the neighborhood. A single login will give you access to the entire website, including forums, email updates, and private portions of the website. I’ll post more details when they are available.
Have you noticed the signs on our lawn? Have you received letters in the mail forecasting doom and gloom if we don’t vote YES? Confused as to what it’s all about? Check out the messages section for more info. Remember, you need to be a registered member to view the messages.
We upgraded the web server that PrimroseLane.info runs on, so some things should seem a little bit quicker.
Also, we registered the domain name PrimroseLane.org. You should be able to get here using either Primroselane.info, or the new Primroselane.org.
I just received a notice in the mail. For those that didn’t, here’s the details:

While I haven’t heard anything whatsoever, I just got a message in the mail today saying the maintenance was increased to $150 in January. While I suppose it’s needed to help the community, it would be real nice if someone told me. If anyone has more details on this, please let me know.
Also, the Christmas display on Van Zile Road opens December 11 and runs until January 3. The hours are roughly 5:00PM-10:00PM.
